Mixers
Get to know your fellow Tisch Grads by attending a mixer! Offered 2-3 times per semester, each mixer represents a chance for you to enjoy snacks, a drink, and conversation. Who knows, you just may meet your next collaborator!
Tisch Talks
Tisch Talks bring together members of the Tisch grad community, across departments, to engage with alumni and speakers who share their experiences and sources of inspiration. Guests have included Annie Baker, Oskar Eustis, Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, Moisés Kaufman, & Anne Washburn.

Interdepartmental Grants
Each December, the GSO Board gathers to evaluate proposals for collaborative projects (created by members of at least two Tisch grad departments) submitted by the Tisch grad community. A total of $5,000 is distributed amongst the winning projects, which are presented before the Tisch community in the late Spring.

All-University
While our grad programs keep us busy, we are still part of the greater NYU community. The GSO President attends a monthly University Committee on Student Life (USCL) meeting to discuss issues that affect NYU, and every Thursday the GSO Senator attends the Student Senators Council (SSC) to help determine NYU policy. If you are interested in attending these meetings, the UCSL and Graduate Affairs Committee are both open to all students; you are not required to be an elected officer to attend. Last but not least, every February, a Tisch grad team competes in the All-U Games as part of Violet 100, NYU's spirit week.
